MISSION:
Mapanatili ang kasiglahan at kapayapaan ng pamayanan sa pagkakaroon ng mapayapa at maayos na pamumuhay ng bawat pamilya na nagkakaisa at may pagmamahalan.
VISION:
Ang barangay san jose ay binubuo ng nagkakaisang pamayanan, may pagmamahal at may takot sa diyos. Isang buklod na kumikilos patungo sa progresibo at mapayapang pamumuhay.
BRIEF HISTORY
Morong history was discovered on January 16,1572, barely a year after the founding of Manila by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi
The Spaniards found an organized community which was an indication that the place had been long inhabited before they came.The Barangay San Jose is considered as one of the oldest Barangay’s in the Municipality situated within the Poblacion.
Although Barangay San Jose did not officially exist earlier that earlier that 1901, it did have a start in remote period in history which is course of time and event come to be legal part of the Municipality as it known..From the beginning of the American rule in the Philippines, the policy was to increase gradually the autonomy and liberty of the Filipinos and gradually extend American political ideas. Barangay San Jose got its name after St. Joseph .Since its inception, Barangay San Jose continue to envolve as a progressive and peaceful community under the leadership of persons who rendered honorable service to Barangay San Jose Former Barangay Captains : Faustino Ramos, Julio Villegas, Artemio Pascual,Santiago Torres, and Emerlina Torres, the current Punong Barangay Edilberto P. De Jesus.
Barangay San Jose has three(3) Sitios; Sitio Balante,Sitio Maytigbe and San Jose Proper.
The population by religion is predominantly Roman Catholics.The other existing religions are Iglesia ni Cristo, Jehovas Witnesses,Born Again Baptis,Protestant and Dating Daan in the order according to number of membership. One of the good Tourist Spots in our area is Saint Jerome Parish Church,commonly known as Morong Church , located at Morong,Rizal,it was built in 1620.
The most commonly used dialect in the barangay is Tagalog and English. Except for those transient residents, majority are Visayas and Bicolanos
The total population of Barangay San Jose is more or less 5,400 with an almost equal number of male and female. This comprised approximately of 2,700 families.
Basic infrasture project area available in this Barangay ranging from a decent Barangay Hall, the Health Center, Two Multi-Purpose Covered Court, and two Daycare Center situated at Barangay proper and other at Sitio Upper Balante. Improvement and repairs of roads are continuously being provided with the support from Municipality and Provincial Government.
GEOGRAPHY
Geographically, Barangay San Jose is bounded on the north by Barangay Maybancal, on the south by Barangay Bombongan, on the west by Barangay San Guillermo, on northeast by Barangay San Juan and on the southwest by Barangay San Pedro. A river running through the middle of the town empties its water into Laguna de Bay and separetes San Jose from Barangay San Pedro and San Juan.
LAND USE
San Jose is predominantly agriculture-based. More than half of the total land area is suited to cultivation.
CLIMATE
Barangay San Jose experiences two types of climate. It has two pronounced seasons: one t5hat is dry from November to April and the other which is wet during the other months of the year, May to October.
RELIGIOUS GROUP
The population by religion is predominantly Roman Catholics. The other existing religious are Iglesia ni Cristo, Jehovas Witnesses, Born Again, Baptist/Protestant and Dating Daan in the order according to number of membership.
DIALECTS
The most commonly used dialect in the barangay is Tagalog. Except for those transient residents, majority are the Visayas and Bicolanos and few Ilocano speaking residents.
POPULATION
The total population Barangay San Jose is 4, 293 (2020 Census) with an almost equal number of male and female. This comprised approximately of 2,612 families. The average household size is twelve(12) members. Almost all physically normal with only very few cases of mental and physical handicapped.

Basic infrastructure projects are available in this Barangay ranging from a decent Barangay Hall that houses the Health Center, two Multi-Purpose Covered Courts situated at Barangay proper and the other at sitio Upper Balante.
