MISSION

To provide excellent regulatory and related services guided by competence, and integrity with utmost regard for public safety and environmental protection towards an improved quality of life in Morong, Rizal.

GOALS

• Pursue continuing efforts towards sustainable efficiency and effectiveness in the administration and enforcement of the National Building Code.
• A socially responsive and constant advocacy for public awareness of rules and regulations and requirements concerning building construction.
• Regulatory services integrated with conscientious observance of environmental protection and preservation measures, and aligned rules of public safety and health.
• To ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the conduct of inspection and enforcement of building policies, rules and regulations provided under the National Building Code.

FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT:

1. Initiate, review and recommend changes in policies and objectives, plans and programs, techniques, procedures and practices in infrastructure development and public works in general of Local Government Unit concerned.
2. Administer, coordinate, supervise and control the construction, maintenance, improvement and repair of roads and other engineering and public works project of the Local Government Unit concerned; and
3. Provide engineering services to the LGU concerned, including investigation and survey, engineering design, feasibility studies, and project management.
4. Objectives
   1. To advise the Mayor, as the case may be, on infrastructure, public works and engineering matter;
   2. To coordinate, supervise and control the construction, maintenance, improvement and repair of roads and other engineering and public works.
